My decision to transition to "Sisterlocks" has become a "Rite of Passage" for me. I am both ready and convinced that this is what my spirit has longed for. I feel more like "myself" than I have ever felt. I have connected with myself and my hair as never before. Though this transition will not be free of challenges, it is one I must embark on. So I invite you to join me as we discover another dimension of our intriguing, mysterious and beautiful natural hair.

Still Coming Along Fine
OMG! It's been forever - well that's a slight exaggeration - but it's been a while since I last posted. I have dedicated practically all my time to my studies. It's the end of the semester and Christmas break so I'm back for a few weeks. I must say that my hair is progressing nicely. It's growing and filling out nicely. I can't say that I have anything new to add regarding my hair. I still love it more than ever. I am so glad that, given my busy schedule, I don't have to worry about my hair. It goes seamlessly from my morning workouts, to work, then to school. I love not having to fuss over it. It takes no time at all to pep it up for an evening out.

Your hair has really grown. Beautiful locks and smile. Keep the good energy! Peace and Blessings.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is looking really good. What did u use to color your ends? Are u having any dryness due to the color?
ReplyDelete@ Lovin - Yea, its growing quite a bit. Seems like it's going through a little growth spurt. I'm a about 16 months now and glad that I can see visible growth. Thanks for checking in! BLESSINGS!!!
ReplyDelete@ Carmen - thanks so much. Actually my ends were already colored when I loc'd. The color is the result of color I got about three years ago. The ends are the only residual of the color that's left. I do like it though. I'm in Colorado so we have extreme dryness anyway (which is why I don't have "micro" locs) but I do know sistas' who colored and experienced dryness as a result.
Your hair is growing so beautifully. Looking forward to an update soon......,please lol.
